Web Host &c

I have been a long time reader and viewer here and have posted on occasion in the past but then got into writing and drifted away to an extent from photography. The writing continues to go well but I miss the photography. Plus it seems a shame to let several Nikons, lighting equipment, etc, go to waste. So I’ve decided to put up a new/revised website and wanted to ask about web hosts (not website creation - I do that myself). I neither need nor want a lot of flash or gimmicks - just a place to post my work, interact with the profession, models, and clients, market images, etc.
Also, given that I will continue to be involved in other things, I wonder if there’s an intern/ protoge/collaborator/associate out there (Sarasota/Bradenton area) with an interest in this side of the camera or both sides as well as the business side; someone to learn or bring what they know and work toward taking the lead in things while I play a part, somewhat in the background as a participant as well as a resource. That way I stay involved but without the sole burden. Maybe it’ll work, maybe it won’t. But let me stress that I am NOT looking for an investor – no monetary contribution sought or required. Just an investment of interest, time, talent, and effort – and a reasonable touch of ambition. As I said, it’s an idea I’m mulling and if anyone wants to discuss it, email me at ScorPhoto@aol.com.
