...disagree with you, but this time I'll agree.

Almost all real money to be made in modeling is to be made at real, land-based agencies. Let me add mine.

A model I know (she's be doing it for 15 years) got her start when she walked into a Chicago agency in support of a friend. At that moment, a client called because a model from another agency no-showed and then needed a model that match my friends description exactly. The agent took a couple of quick polariods, faxed them over the client and in 30 minutes she was on the set of her first shoot, for a national ad, which netted her more than he annual income for the past year.

I tell almost all models, try the traditional agencies first, if that fails, then try the internet if you still feel the need to be a model.
