: Dallas Mustang is seeking 12 female models, at least 18 years of age, for a 2005 wall calendar... Winners will be featured on the Dallas Mustang calendar...
: Calendar photography will begin the week of Nov. 29, 2004.
Very Interesting... Can you share with the folks here on the Forum, including models who may be interested in your project the basic schedule (timeline) for the publication, promotion and distribution of your "2005" calendar?
Having had my images appear in (and even published our own) nationally distributed calendars in the real world I am familiar with what normally is required.
For 2005 calendars the timeline normally looks something like this... (Going backwards to make it easier to understand)
Aug 2004 - 2005 calendars on the street
Jun 2004 - 2005 calendars in distribution
Apr 2004 - 2005 calendars at the printers
Feb 2004 - 2005 calendar images to publisher
Dec 2003 - 2005 cover art complete with image
Nov 2003 - 2005 image shoots complete
Apr 2003 - 2005 image shoots begin (thru summer)So normally the process can take from 16 to 18 months to complete, and you seem to be indicating you are going to start shooting 3 months after everyone else already has their 2005 calendars in the stores??
Just curious.
