Dave,
I see these posts on other forums all the time and the reason they turn ugly here is the Internet Forum Police mentality of a few who feel it is up to them to discredit those who aren't in their clique. I wonder how many legitimate offers have been run off because they didn't "appear" to meet the Forum Police's scrutiny.
If anything, throw up a information page on agencies and how to select one and then let the buyer beware. To stop these from turning ugly, stop the personal attacks everytime an agency posts here other than the few who do. Seems to me that those few who say they are legitimate and post here may be afraid of losing their monopoly (would a legit agency pose a 16 year old teenager in a patent leather nurses outfit like you can buy at Frederick's of Hollywood?) and or first grabs on any new talent. Who's to really say what is and what isn't a legit agency?
Just my opinion.
Regards,
Marc Grant
