You're right, Doug. Without the Net, we'd never have the reach for acquiring models, for doing business. I'll be shooting some stuff to help out a friend who's running a fund-raiser for herself in January. Her home was flooded, so she's doing a belly dance luncheon. A dozen belly dancers have all agreed to perform for the function. The day before, I'll be doing promo stuff of various dancers. They'll pay, and my buddy will get a cut for setting up everything, so we'll both do OK on that. Day of the show, I'll try to capture some of the dancers for her site.
None of this could have happened without the networking offered out here on the Web.
A show I'm working on never would have existed except for the Web.
Any number of contacts, several sales, etc., etc., all depended on the Web.
Seems your friend is exceptionally short-sighted.
(BTW, my international sales didn't work, 'cause Visa rejected the cards. Dammit!)
