Just a few days ago, I had a discussion with a photographer friend regarding the internet as a serious market place. He maintained the net had nothing to do with "real" business. Sadly, I can't reach him by phone this evening, I would love to rub his nose in it.
I've just received a confirmed order with a 50% deposit from a businessman who is an art collector, for 13 large size fine art prints to decorate a new multi-million dollar home. At a discounted price for quantity as well as my Holiday Season discount, my profit will still be substantial. (Yeah, we're talking a Canon 10D next week!)
Is the net a serious market place? Yeah it is! The attached is one of the prints he ordered.
