A few hours ago I returned home from my brother's house, where my sister in law had prepared a feast fit for the gods. As a natural effect of aging, the 'Thanksgiving party' has been reduced in size, now just my mother and the three of us. We had a traditional Thanksgiving, complete with blessings and turkey (cooked to perfection!) and some introspective thoughts and words. Then I came home, played with the lap dog Rotweiller, then as most of us do often, I checked my email. I found a couple of messages from ladies who were inquiring about photo sessions, one as a model and another as a private commission. Both live 800+ miles from Atlanta. It occurred to me that I have far more than the traditional Thanksgiving blessings for which to be Thankful.

That somehow I acquired a skill, the skill of creating photographic images which caused women of all types to want to take part; that they 'choose' to travel substantial distances at their own expense in order to be included in my art. That secretaries, lawyers, Mds, engineers, students, housewives, airline pilots and others on my web site appreciate my work to such an extent that they 'chose' to travel a significant distance, drop all of their inhibitions and pose naked in order to create a piece of art. when I say "pose naked", that has little to do with nudity, instead it has to do with sometimes exposing their souls to my camera. Sometimes the images are just photos, but sometimes something magical happens and the photo session becomes a near magical exercise in which both the model and I learn something about ourselves. Sometimes the primitive tribes are right and the camera does capture a bit of the soul.

So my added Thanksgiving thought is to thank whatever deity or deities which might be out there for blessing me with the skill to create images which generate the desire of women who have never before posed to trust me enough to strip away their inhibitions and to stand naked before my camera.

Thank you to the deities and to you ladies.
