Hey Everyone,

I finally saved up enough money to make the jump into digital. I have a two part questions and would love to have a response if possible.

First of all, I need to upgrade my computer system (still using a Pentium II). and was wondering how much memory would be recommended for running Photoshop 7 the best (I know as much as possible but what would be the min.)

Second, if you could get any Digital SLR in the market what would it be. I'm having a clean slate since I've been using Minolta and they don't have a pro line so lens aren't a factor. I will be making this purchase in December so if you know of something new coming out around then, please factor that into your decision.
