Maxim had a "team" at the Super Bowl, too. I knew one of the gals. They got all expenses paid, plus fees, plus some really good industry contacts.

A lawyer friend of mine says that analogies are the weakest form of argument. They're especially bad when they're not analogous.

Yes, sex sells. If a gal thinks paintball shooters will go to her pay site, cool. But you're looking for people to provide you the "sex" part of the selling for free. That's a great business model if it works.

But for any model who does NOT have a pay site, your offer makes no sense whatsoever.

BTW, even the original car shows that involved manufacturers and pretty girls were commercial endeavors. Free? Not bloody likely. And neither is the Maxim paintball squad.

It's perfectly OK to try to get something for nothing. What's insufferable is when you try to dissemble at every turn, inventing justifications as you go. And what the heck does your Web traffic have to do with the paintball deal? Nada. Zip. Nothing.
