and I agree with you John..I don't think the pawn shops themselves are checking all the equipment that comes in.
I have visited a few, but they say they run the numbers with the local authorities. Last year my place got hit and I am still suffering from the loss. The suffering part is the extra out of pocket expenses to maintain security at my location.
