I guess the only way to avoid being searched really is to use nonsensical names or switch to a flash site.
In the end I am too worried about the images going out to other sites, it is that it is wasting a lot of bandiwidth. I have been slowly working on closing down the site to the public because it really has not directly generated any work for me. The work that it has generated has been through a face to face meeting where I can tell the potential customer to go and look at the site. My other photography (photojournal, no models) site gets me jobs directly without much work on my part.
At this point it is probably easiest for me to embedd my name right into the image and this way if it is used somewhere else I get credit for it.
Thanks. Darren.
