Lots and lots of girls who "don't have any trouble getting dates" decide they want to be models, and think they are qualified. Most of the time they aren't, and most of the time it takes a lot more effort on their part than they had anticipated.

The link below describes what it takes to be a "mainstream" commercial model. Read it first, then ask more questions. As the title of this posts suggests, it is deliberately intended to scare off a lot of people who "want to be models" but who don't understand what that means.
