I think you've got this whole thing about your daughter's modeling backwards. She doesn't have a career to further at this point.
She has a dream. To achieve the dream, she needs to be good. Shooting with good people can help you get better, faster.
So, if you think the illustrator/photograher does work that you'd be proud to show, give it a go.
But no number of isolated shoots will further a career.
For a model to succeed, she (or he) needs to be where the work is, and to be available when the work is there. To that end, you need to pick a market and work it, if she is hell bent on doing modeling.
