Beatiful shot! Somewhere I have some nice IR pictures I took too.
The point is... you have little to no control over lighting, sky conditions, background, etc. Even Adams admitted that his Moonrise over Herandez was a "lucky shot"
I believe that is why most of us shoot portraits. We can control the lighting, mood, expression, props, background, etc.
Landscae photographers have a very steril field to hoe....
