Thanks! The above photo was taken by Mortensen in 1927 for DeMill when he was still photographer for the movie "King of Kings." This is one of many originals of Mortensen's in my private collection.

Yes, GREAT BOOK! I have a couple of copies of it lying around here. I hope you have the original and not the 1967 Jacque DeLangre version.

Another Mortensen book I highly reccommend is "The Command to Look". Best book on photo composition I have ever read. Its a bit pricy, if you can find a copy at all. Here again, try to find an original, not one of Jacques copies.

He wrote 13 books in all, if memory serves me, and the one on "Outdoor Portraiture" is specially good. I have all his books, as well as his original enlarger and WM logo stamp, among other items.
