you're right, how foolsih of me to think that I might know more about psychology and social interaction theory after getting two degrees in it. The good Mr Hicks of Penthouse probably knows much more about psychology than I do. I'm quite sure his job was to emphasize the eyes of women.
Start here:
http://www.ucsc.edu/news_events/press_releases/archive/95-96/03-96/031996-Video_shows_key_rol.html
• Hess, E H (1972): 'Pupilometrics'. In N Greenfield & R Sternbach (Eds.): Handbook of Psychophysiology. New York: Holt, Rinehart & Winston
• Hess, E H & J M Polt (1960): 'Pupil Size as Related to Interest Value of Visual Stimuli', Science 132: 349-50
Then look up:
Social Attraction Gaze Theory
Pupil Dilation and Sexual Attraction
Oclusics
Gaze Theory
The internet is a powerful tool and if you're going to act like an ass you can do your own research.
When you're done reading go to a full nude strip club and see how much eye contact there is. When boobs and bush are showing there's no need for eyes.
