Is getting color right important? Are we taking photographs to document or to create artistic images?
I try to maintain the integrity of what I am seeing as best as possible by being deligent with my white balance settings. I don't like to mess with color in post production. What is her true eye color? I'm not sure. LOL. I spent two days shooting and her color changed under different lighting conditions and angles.
The image I originally posted is probably the most accurate(?). I used a single strobe through a translucent panel straight on. The camera was set for 5200k wb which is what I measured the strobe to be.
For the other image you spoke about, David, I used two hotel lamps and set the wb for incadescent.
