Model (in both pics) is Leanna
left pic = start of modeling, right pic = 6 months later

Christian, You were way too gentle, not your norm. Not only is there a shot as you described, but the rest are (as mentioned) pretty bad. It is obvious that it's not really Tylynn's fault though. It appears no one has ever really taught her HOW to pose... She seems to not have had any background in modeling of any kind, based on the images presented, and no knowledge of how to present or market herself, based on the website.

Tylynn, please take the following advice to heart (and not personally)... If you are to do a professional job of modeling you will need to improve in these (and other) areas:

1) posing: study images presented in commercial print work that is published (glamour, fashion, whatever your interests are). See HOW the models are positioned from the camera's eye, and practice those yourself in front of a mirror.

2) presentation: again examine professionally done work, and see how the models have faces/expressions that are something besides "strained" looking. Practice these as well.

3) appearance: you need some advice and help from a professional stylist. Your hair is out of control, get it some help right away (but do NOT cut it shorter). Your appearance would be MUCH smoother and more feminine with a softer smoother hair look. The color could be softened as well.

4) photography: you need pictures from someone who understands lighting and has an artistic eye for capturing a model. The ones you have should be good enough to get you better ones... quickly.

5) marketing: your web site is busy, and unfocused. As mentioned you need good pics, sized properly, and presented with (real) thumbs that link to larger (600 pixels max) images. DO NOT simply use HTML to make thumbs (resized in html) from large images.

There are a number of good photographers in Texas, find them and work out a deal.

The transformation you need is completely doable. Leanna (above) was able to move from the look on the left above, the the look on the right, in less than 6 months. Her marketability went from near zero initially, to highly in demand and earning serious $$ by the end of her first year working as a model.

It takes a lot of work, and dedication, and if you're not willing to put in the effort, you might as well not bother at all... but if you can stick it out, you should be able to succeed with your modeling efforts.
