Hi, my name is Willem Jaspert and i've just come across the AFA website and it sounds like a really great idea! I'm a photographer from London, England but have been working in Mexico City on contract as Fashion Editor of Harper's Bazaar LatinAmerica and then as a freelance photographer for Marie Claire LatinAmerica. I need to do some shoots to update my portfolio and am considering attending AFA 2003 in Vegas but have a few questions... can anyone help?
Nearly everything I shoot I show to the editor of MArie Claire in Mexico and she often uses my work... would I have the right to publish any photos taken at AFA in these magazines if possible?
Also, where are the stylists getting their clothes from? Are they mainly going for 'looks' or will they also be aiming for getting the season's key pieces and maybe designer gear too?

This guy Christian does what you would like to be doing, he actually gets published in fashion magazines. Guess what Christian, it looks like he may be there. I know your cringing.

Now I can not tell you how happy I am that you gave us this opportunity to really show people what AFA was all about, in fact Christian, we came over here knowing you would attack and knowing we would then have the opportunity to really show people people what AFA is all about. Consider yourself used.

You are right again Christian about the shots not being in your book. This is a team concept photoshoot, only team players are invited. You know that and thats why you have attacked it since day one.
