I think that my double take of all things on the net is what keeps me coming around. There are times when it's just fun to come on and share "this or that"... and then there are times when something loose drops into the gears of the web-world... and I want to set it straight.

"Live and let live" is a great saying... but hard to practice. Some of the small things affect the big things, and chaos ensues. When I come on to correct ( or attempt to ), it's because I feel that the one small thing will filter into the larger things... and the bar will again be lowered. My fantasy is that this become a community of people who understand values, and the bar raises above the final round of the "limbo". I therefore prefer "Easy does it... but do it!" as my failing mantra.

I actually enjoy the differences in photo work here. It's fun to witness the budding young photographers, the established power houses ( where's Jerry been lately ?), the models still undeveloped and clueless, the established models understanding their value, and of course boobs... prozac for the visually minded.

The part that makes me grumpy is when someone offers crap for advice in my realm when they haven't the slightest idea of what they're talking about. They use their "made up" facts to lure models into stupid things. Those are the people I typically chase down and embarrass. I like to think of it more in terms of "translation" from sales pitch/web babble to reality... and there are those who will fight to the death believing that they really know.

Still when it's all said and done... I like to think of myself as a Bill Maur, David Spade, and Dennis Miller of the cyber model world. I'm really laughing with those people... not at them... I'm just laughing a whole lot harder :)
