Yesterday we did a casting for Time Magazine. I'm not sure if it will be for the cover or just on inside editorial - but it calls for "implied nudity", so stated on the casting call. It's the second time we've had that kind of request from Time. The first time for their cover story on breast cancer in February, this time for one on osteoporosis and arthritis. You can see the results in a week or so in a newsstand near you.
"Implied nude" isn't a term we hear every day simply because in the commercial print business it doesn't come up every day. On average, about 2-3% of our castings involve actual or implied nudity. But it is done, it is discussed, and that terminology is used in the professional advertising market.
