I am not planing a blank jump and pretending I know something I don't. I have been in the business for 7 years. I have been stepped on hurt and also had the joys of doing some work in the industry, I was also a talent scout for a major talent management company. I left because I didn't feel that they were doing what they were telling the talent which is usually the case. I am not saying I'm a know it all and 7 years is not long enough when you're not in feature films and doing small scale modeling and acting. But it is long enough to know how the game is played. I only say game not to refer to this as a joke but to say that your moves need to be thought out if you take the wrong move you'll wind up further back than you were.
As far as charging I have to because I intend on dedicating my self full time I honestly thought twenties was a fair charge I am not taking a percentage of work, and yes if talent is chosen or is selected by an agent I would gladly send them on their way. I am only marketing at this point, I said I may get into management at a later time. you also mentioned that any talent can do it on their own but a lot do not
I have some past connections and am working very hard at starting new relationships in the business. In conclusion, this site is honestly being created to help talent find their way and you have made a poor assumption of my intent and knowledge of the business. I guess it could be my fault because it seems when others ask for suggestions and feedback they don't present themselves as knowledgeable in that particular area. I really just like to know what is going on out there and what people feel and think. Thank you both very much for your opinions and I hope this note will continue this discussion with you and for others as well. I would really love to hear from talent working or not and agents, managers as well
