I reserve a special dark place in my heart for those who are doing exactly what you're planning. You are walking into this with the most noble intentions... and are accidently going to set off a bomb killing hundreds of careers.
You're trying to set up a site dedicated to helping models... like yet another misguided "web-agent". Only problem is.... YOU KNOW NOTHING... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT WHAT YOUR TALENT NEEDS. You're the dead leading the blind. What business do you have acting like a big swinging d*ck to talent that may be depending on you to make their living... this isn't a joke and sure as hell is a realistic situation. Models sometimes starve waiting for jobs... and you don't have clients, nor do you have resources in the real community. Time is working against the models, and you want them to alot you time to learn how to do your job.
I can only gather that because you intend to charge for your service... that the more the merrier. Problem with that, is if you have 10 real stars... and 2000 wanna-be's with a better chance of contracting polio than working a day.... clients will see lots of the 2000 and give up before giving the 10 a deserved chance.
Don't you know how many little web agents there are around? Don't you know that they suffocate any real possiblities of making the girl's dreams come true. They sit in a greedy position and take money for the "chance" rather than push for the "reality"... it makes business sense for them.
Here's a posed question for you... what if someone wanted to make something more of one of "your" models... would you let the model know.... with the knowledge that you'd be losing out on your 20 something?
You being clueless is going to hurt people. You're going to impact a career or two ( of those that figure out you're clueless way too late ), killing any chance for real success.
If you want to learn the real business... apply as a receptionist at a real agency... and pray you get it.
