I am not quite as negative as some others here, but I have had both good and bad experiences with OMP and at least one no-show from a "real" agency. Most of the models that I have arranged to shoot with from OMP have shown up on time and have been wonderful to shoot with.

I think that much of what has been said here is correct, people can go to OMP to play at being a model, or a photographer, or they can go there if they are just getting started, or if they don't at this time want to be a full time model but rather want some extra work.

Isn't it really caracteristic of the internet in general, that people can claim to be what they perhaps are not? Yet still, we all obviously deal with that every day because we are all here.

OMP could use some better ways of keeping their databases clean from people who list inactive email accounts, and my experience is that I have had to contact models a week or more in advance to be confident of getting a response from someone in time to talk to them in time to be confident that they will show for a shoot. But my experience has also been that it has been a good way to find some very talented and very nice models.
