Long ago I came to the conclusion it is only a place where people can play act being a model. While I've no doubt some there are serious, many of them would be terified of getting an actual modeling gig. In fact some of the models don't even know they are posted there, their pics are posted by photographers trying to drive hits to their own sites; the email to models sometimes goes to the photographer and the models never see it.
